Giftson Durai is a pastor, singer-songwriter, record producer, and arranger from Erode, Tamil Nadu, whose music has shaped the landscape of contemporary Tamil Christian music over the past decade. Blending rich musical craftsmanship with deeply biblical and poetic lyrics, his songs have resonated with listeners across the globe. He made his debut in 2018 with *Thoonga Iravugal*, an album written during his recovery from panic attacks. Rooted in his personal journey of healing through faith and the Gospel, the project introduced a fresh and honest voice to Tamil gospel music. Since then, Giftson has released five EPs and numerous singles, including beloved songs such as *Aasaigal*, *Manase*, and *Vidai Ariya*, collectively garnering millions of streams and impacting countless lives. An ordained pastor with an M.Div. from Assemblies of God Bible College, Giftson has faithfully served in ministry while continuing to create music that points people to Christ. Having ministered in 16 countries as both a preacher and musician, he remains committed to sharing the hope of Jesus through the Word and song.
